Description of activities:
OJSC Krasnodar International Airport (Pashkovsky) - one of the biggest international airports in southern Russia and the main aviation gateway in the Krasnodar territory. The airport is certified to Russian Civil Aviation Certification System standards and the aerodrome holds a Category I International Civil Aviation Organization certificate and has been certified for international flights. Capacity is 700 passengers per hour.

The airport has three terminals: one for international flights, one for domestic flights and one for cargo. Kuban Airlines is the anchor airline.

The airport can handle 500 passengers per hour on domestic flights and 200 on international flights. The airport operates up to 30 flights a day in the winter and around 60 in the summer. It served 2.1 million passengers in 2010.

The airport has two artificial runways, capable of accepting almost any type of aircraft in service in Russia and abroad: An-12, An-22, An-24, An-30, An-124, Il-14, Il-18, Il-76, Tu-134, Tu-154, Yak-40, Yak-42, all modifications of the Boeing 737 and Airbus 319-320.

The airport has fully equipped parking stands for up to 38 aircraft.

The development strategy of Krasnodar airport includes attraction of new foreign airline operators and opening of new regional routes (within a radius of 1500-2000 km), including those that will connect Krasnodar with other Basel Aero airports. Plans to expand co-operation with low-cost carriers are also under way.

Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company and Kuban Airlines signed an LOI for 12 Sukhoi Superjet 100

August 19, 2011, Zhukovsky (Moscow region) - At the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2011 Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company and Kuban Airlines signed a Letter of Intent for 12 Sukhoi Superjet 100/95B aircraft. The order is valued at 380,4 million USD at list prices. The document was signed by Vladimir Prisyazhnyuk, President of JSC «Sukhoi Civil Aircraft» and Denis Ilyin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuban Airlines and Managing Director of Aviation Business at Basic Element Group.

Basel Aero, Boeing join forces to boost airports capacity

Kuban Airlines flies 22% more passengers in 2010

Kuban Airlines has tallied its results for 2010, which show steady growth in passenger numbers. The airline carried 666,454 passengers, or 21.71% more than the 547,579 it flew in 2009.
