In addition to ongoing modernization activities by individual companies and enterprises, Basic Element has launched the Science and Technology Center, a centralized effort to move cutting-edge technologies from a research idea to commercial application stage. Managed jointly with the Russian Academy of Science, the Center identifies promising technologies, evaluates them from scientific, industrial, commercial and environmental perspectives and assists individual enterprises in integrating them into regular production.
